A Middle Eastern Utopia

Imagining a peaceful Middle East is beyond all three Abrahamic faiths. What values, beleifs and ideals are going to bring and sustain peace? Do the Arabs as Muslims, and Israels as Jews have to sacrifice some of their religious convictions, if they are to make peace between themselves and their ancient neighbours? What is peace if its going to be enforced militaristically, by segregation, or by signing treaties which appears to be nothing more than prolonged cease fires. Real peace if it is ever acheived in the Middle East will transcend our religious and national identities and bond as humans.

Imagine what it would be like, to live in a Middle East that is not maintained by peace treaties, but rather by mutual understanding and compassion. Is it easy?....it's our only hope for peace.
